Herbert was a resident of Blackstone, Virginia at the time of passing.

He was a U S Army veteran, serving in Germany during the Vietnam War.

Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018, in Crewe Cemetery, Crewe, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758512, Topeka, KS 66675.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you all during this time. May
God give each of you strength and find peace at this time. I can only
imagine how each of you feel to lose a loved one. I know he will be
missed dearly.
