Angeline Parrish Jones Obituary
Ms. Angeline Parrish Jones of Petersburg, Virginia, departed from this life on Monday, November 5, 2018, surrounded by her beautiful daughters and dear friends.

She was born in Henderson, North Carolina to late Henry and Thelma Parrish on February 1, 1946. They then relocated to Chesterfield, Virginia where Angeline and her 9 siblings grew up.

As an adult, Angeline, married the late Joseph (Joe Joe) Drumgoole and they raised their eldest daughter Yolanda Drumgoole Robinson in Chesterfield. They then relocated to Petersburg, Virginia were Angeline worked fulltime for Titmus Optical and part time with the Petersburg Public School Systems Cafeteria Department for over 15 years. She then transitioned to Sola Optical where she worked for over 20 plus years and retired. She raised her youngest daughter Jewel Sheffield in the latter years of her adulthood.

Angeline Jones was introduce to the truth of Jehovah's Witnesses in the mid-80's. She was a member of the Central Park Congregation where she served in the pioneer school of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was baptized on January 10, 1998 and continued serving Jehovah until the last day of her life.

Angeline is preceded in death by her mother and father, Henry and Thelma Parrish; her four brothers, Charles Parrish, Eugene Parrish, Robert 'Marshall' Parrish and Larry Parrish; one sister, Addie Parrish Jones; niece, Charlisa N. Parrish; and a devoted friend, Lynn Saunders.

She leaves behind her two brothers, Henry Parrish, Jr. (Barbara), and Michael Parrish (Karen); two sisters, Carolyn Parrish and Laverne Thomas; daughters, Yolanda Drumgoole Robinson (Marc) and Jewel Sheffield; two grandsons, Da'Quon Gregory and Xavier Robinson; honorary children, Katherine Barnes, Joseph Williams (Candy), Neriah and Amir Williams, Monique Hunter, Joseph Walker, Eric Harrison (Denise); devoted and loyal cousin and confident, Mary 'Sista' Byrd; devoted nephew, Percell Parrish (Terrah); and a host of nieces, nephews; close friends, Lula Glenn, Catina Peter-Ince, Linda Jones, Gale Hunter, and Andrew Lyons.

Our family wishes to extend our warmest gratitude to her home care aides Sharon Smith, Earnest Nai, Rosetta Holley, Beverly Kenney, Quantisha Christian, Cynthia Farrah, and Tracy Adkins. As well as those whom have cared for her in the last 10 years. We would also like to say a special thank you to Wayne Prebor, Igmara Prunier, Malaika Manson, Jordan Damiano, Rhonda Jones- Lambert, Charlene Tyler, Jizelle Baez, Diane Cobb, and Elwood Bell and all other staff members and participants of Innovage Richmond Pace Center. We also would like to thank the great staff at VCU/MCV Medical Center, Saint Francis, the rescue staff of Chesterfield County, Right at Home, and Care Advantage.

While this is a difficult time for our family, we would like to thank you all for the lovely cards, kind words, phone calls, visits, food and any other consoling gestures during this time of bereavement.

May Jehovah God continue to bless and keep you all.

Services will be held 2:30 P.M., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Kingdom Hall-Jehovah's Witnesses, 575 Old Wagner Road, Petersburg, VA. The interment will be private.
