Ms. Bernadette Parham Breadon, “Dee Dee” or “Redd” as she was affectionately known, 47, of 14422 Hunting Quarter Church Road, Stony Creek, VA was welcomed into heaven by her mother early Wednesday morning, December 5, 2018 at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg VA.

Her inseparable smile, freckles, and gap touched many as she never met a stranger. Regardless of who you were she had something in common with you! Dee Dee lived and loved her family and life to the fullest.

Dee Dee was a 1989 graduate of Sussex Central High School, Sussex Virginia. She was employed as a cosmetologist in Richmond, Virginia until her health declined. She spent the remainder of her years being “Auntie Nana” to her MooMoo and Laiya Cake.

She was welcomed into heaven by “her mama” Dorothy U. Parham and her grandparents, Robert T. and Laura B. Urquhart, Ella and Lawrence Parham all of Stony Creek, Virginia.

Dee Dee leaves to cherish her fondest memories: her loving and devoted father, Willie Parham; a special friend of several years, Tyrone Wyche of Petersburg, VA; two inseparable daughters, Shaneka P. Rose (Brandon) and her baby girl Brya A. Breadon both of Jarratt, VA; one god-daughter, Zaikia Taylor of Chester, VA; she was Nana to her three heartbeats, Trevion, Kameron and Elise Rose all of Jarratt, VA; two adoring sisters, Gwendolyn P. Lewis (Henry Stith) of Stony Creek, VA, and Juanita P. Jenifer (Paul) of Chester, VA; two protective and caring brothers, Tony Parham of Greensboro, NC, and Berwin R. Parham (Lorie) of Petersburg, VA. She was “Auntie Dee Dee” to a host of nieces and nephews; one god-sister, Pheadra Wyche of North Carolina; a multitude of devoted aunts, uncles, great aunts specifically her dedicated great aunt, Queenie I. Pleasant; a host of cousin;  two loving sister/cousin/friends, Erika Peterson and Yaminah Knight; several other special family and friends including her most inseparable crew Stacey Bracey, Cathy Matos, and Yolanda (NeNe) Scott.
