Nancy, there are no words to express how saddened we were to hear about Garnett's passing into Heaven. He was such a fine gentleman who lived his life helping others...always with kindness , gentleness, and laughter ...and love for you. I will remember how proud he was of his tomato plants,"miles high", those great parties of yours filled with his laughter, the time he literally jumped over the chain like fence because He heard me screaming (my cat Ouzo had a snake in his mouth!!!),the time he came pounding on our front door because he heard our smoke detector alarming...always caring about others. There is no doubt that he was richly welcomed into Heaven and is enjoying some very happy reunions, and that he will continue to be right beside you now to help you through the tough times . May God bless you with many good memories to lighten your heart! With love fro Beth and Dan Bechard

Nancy, sending you prayers of strength and comfort during this difficult time. Garnett was a wonderful man and a friend to many. It was always a pleasure visiting, hearing his stories, his laugh and sharing positive thoughts. Feel his spirit Nancy. He's not here in body but his spirit is with you always. Much Love.

I loved my Uncle Garnett, and always thought of him as a true and loyal fan of the Washington Redskins, and New York Yankees, and of course, he loved the United States Marines! He was a loving husband to my Aunt Nancy, and they looked forward to their "Happy Hour" and time to chat and bond every evening! He had a great sense of humor, and had a definite opinion about most any topic!
I remember his hand on my shoulder as we watched his hunting dog, "Spot" pass away of what was probably a snake bite. He was very matter-of-fact, and compassionate at the same time.
I want to express my deepest sympathies to my Aunt Nancy, as I cannot imagine how she must miss him. God Bless, and comfort you. Lisa Weaver
