Elfriede KUMM Obituary
KUMM, Elfriede
Elfriede Kumm was born in Pomerania, northern Germany on February 14, 1927 and passed away peacefully in Tsawwassen on February 26, 2023. She leaves behind her Sister and Nephews in Germany, and also many friends in Canada. In the mid 1950's she emigrated to Canada, which became her second home.
Friedel loved to travel, and has been to Mexico, Hawaii and also back to Germany for visits with relatives and friends. She enjoyed a long employment with the Printing Department of the Vancouver General Hospital. Her friends will remember her "Kaffee Klatsch get togethers" and her hazelnut cakes.
Friedel has spent the last 14 years at the Waterford Retirement Home in Tsawwassen, with the last three years on their Special Care Floor. We would like to thank all of the Waterford staff for their kindness and care of making Friedel's last few month as comfortable as possible.
