Christine Theodoroff Badger went home Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018.
She was 86 years old, born Oct. 3, 1932, in New York City. Her family moved to Detroit, Mich., where she attended Pershing High School.  After high school she worked in insurance sales. She later moved to San Francisco, Calif., where she met her husband, Robert Badger. They married in 1957 and moved to Kingston, where they raised their beautiful family.
She was very active in her church, Bethel Presbyterian, where she was a member for 60 years. She was instrumental in beginning the hand bell choir and was a director for 34 years. She was also an avid tennis player in many leagues throughout the area. She worked with the Roane County Chamber of Commerce and later worked with DOE, until her retirement. After retirement, she opened a bookstore in Kingston and loved sharing her passion for reading.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Penna Theodoroff and Jordan Theodoroff; sister, Mary Jordan; and brother Theodore Theodoroff.
She is survived by her children, Adam Badger, Clay Badger (Rhonda), and Molly Cooper (Brett), all of Kingston; grandchildren, Robert Badger, Kingston, Chrissy Badger, Kingston, Hope Cooper, Kingston, Brandon Cooper, Maryville, and Bailey Cooper, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; five great-grandchildren, Evan Badger, Avery Elsea, Hunter Elsea, Nyah Whitaker, and Lakin Whitaker.  The family expresses deep appreciation to Brookdale Assisted Living, Renaissance Terrace and Caris Healthcare for their devoted care for Chris during her final years.
Receiving of friends will be at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 203 S. Kentucky Street, Kingston, from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1.  A memorial service will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Pat Summitt Foundation Find a Cure For Alzheimer's at
