Linda K. Maggard Ridings

Linda K. Maggard Ridings, 67, of Maryville and Kingston, born Dec. 15, 1949, to the late Dora and George Maggard, of Harlan, Ky., passed away Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at Roane Medical Center. 
She graduated from Friendsville High School and cum laude from Walter State Community College in 1989 with an RN degree. She retired from U.T. Medical Center after 25 years of service, was a travel nurse for five years, worked at Asbury Place and was presently the nursing director for Renaissance Terrace Nursing in Harriman. She was the founder of Professional Attire Inc., and Sweet Scents and Suds, which her daughter ran. Her hobbies were painting, designing and making jewelry, gardening and volunteer work. She was preceded in death by parents, George and Dora Day Maggard; brother, George Maggard; sister, Ann Watkins; and father-in-law, Alex Ridings.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Jan M. Ridings; daughter and son-in-law, Tina Rose Ridings Fuller and Tracy Fuller; grandsons, Stone Fuller and wife Jazmine, and Trace Fuller; great-grandson, Mason Fuller; brothers, Doug Maggard and Benny Maggard; sisters, Joann Branson and Mary Howard; mother-in-law, Rose Ridings; brother-in-law, Ben Ridings; several nieces and nephews; beloved pets, Molly and Matilda Jane; and many special friends that touched her life. Her passion was her family, work, friends and helping those in need.
The family received friends from 12-2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. The entombment followed at Grandview Mausoleum. www.mccammonammonsclick.com
