Phyllis Bookman Dalton, 91, a resident of Richfield in Salem, Virginia, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wirt LeGrand Dalton. They were married for 60 years and are so happy to be together again.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth and Doug Basham of Roanoke; two sons, Jerry and Debbie Dalton of Safety Harbor, Fla., and David and Rhonda Dalton of Tallahassee, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Richfield for taking such good care of our parents for the twenty plus years that they resided at Richfield. Also, thanks to the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice for helping both of them with their difficult times.
