I remember such good memories of Kim. I remember fixing her computer when she was a freshman at NCSU. I remember running into her almost everyday in the brickyard. So sad to lose one like her.

There will forevermore be a Kim-shaped hole in the lives of the Taylor/Lluy/Fedor/Chiola Family. She came at a time when the whole family needed just what she had to offer. She was fun and smart and GOT IT...no matter what "it" was. She could talk tv stuff with Blake and learned military stuff for Zane. What an incredible stroke of good fortune was her trip to the Air Force Academy with Game Day, during Zane's time as a cadet! Nothing like backstage passes from a cute girl to amp up one's cache! Very special that she was there with the family for graduation too.
Kim was loving and accepting of each of us and, best of all, loved our Nathan unconditionally. (do not mess with Aunt Andy on this one :-) For that, we will always, ALWAYS be grateful to her...and why we will always miss and never forget her. I'm pretty sure we all learned to be better people from Kim.
Rest in peace, Kim...until we meet again.

Kim was an incredible person, so well-liked and admired, and you just had to love her spirit. She was always willing to help others. She was hard-working, eternally positive and appreciative of every opportunity that came her way. Nothing could dampen her enthusiasm and sense of adventure. She enjoyed life to the fullest. We miss so many things about her but I cherish her friendship and the opportunity I had to know and work with her.

Kim was a very dear friend of mine, my best friend really. We were sorority sisters in college at NC State but became very close our senior year when we lived together for a year. We had so much fun, making turkey reubens and going out dancing as often as we could. I learned that year that Kim was someone that would always make the best of anything that life may throw her way, that she cared deeply about others, and that she was something that I would always be able to count on.
After college, I moved out of state but Kim and I stayed close. I have so many happy memories with her - rafting in Austin, Texas, going out in New Orleans, my first trip to Disney, a weekend of fun and sun in the Dominican Republic and a lovely Easter weekend together with her family. I was so excited when, last fall, Kim and I both moved to the Northeast - her to Connecticut and me to New York. It was wonderful to be within regular visiting distance again. The first time I saw her in the city, Nathan had planned a surprise anniversary day for the two of them. Never to be outdone Kim invited my husband and I up for a surprise birthday weekend in Connecticut shortly thereafter that she had planned for him. We were looking forward to so many more visits, so much more time together.
Kim was a friend that I was certain would be with me for life, and in a way, will be. I believe that anyone who’s life Kim touched learned something from her. Learned to appreciate and savor the small things in life. Learned to live life to its fullest and love it. And everyone who loved her knew that they were loved in return.
Kim, you are greatly missed.

I met Kim when Ducky showed up at my 26th birthday party with her in tow. She had just moved to Florida and didn't know very many people yet. Since that day over 5 years ago, her name has never been excluded from the guest list of any event I plan. Every time I would see her, our conversations would inevitably turn to food. One of our last conversations was about where to find good mac & cheese and she told me about an episode of the show "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" she had recently seen. Whether it was pizza, BBQ, fondue, or mac & cheese, we would always end up starving by the end of our discussions, even if we had just finished a huge meal :)
Kim, your personality was electric. When you entered a room, everyone in it wanted to be your friend. I am so grateful that I was lucky enough to be one of those friends. Your delightful smile will be sorely missed, but you made one heck of an impact on this world, Lady!

I had a huge privilage to spend Kim's last days with her. In those days we talked about all the fun times we used to have when living together in FL. We also talked about all the fun things we were going to do in Hawaii, a trip we planned for months.
Kim wasnt just a friend she was like a sister to me and I will forever have her in my heart.
I remember Kim always getting me into Disney to have a funfilled day or convincing me to try new foods and expand my eating habits and thanks to Kim my favorite thing to eat is seafood :). One memory that I will always remember is a game program she brought back just for me from Arizona when the Giants were in the Super Bowl. I still have that program in my night stand. She knew what a big fan I was and when she said she was going to come back to FL instead of being at the game to watch my team with me, it meant the world to me. I was so happy to celebrate that with Kim.
I was so grateful to Kim and Nathan for such a great friendship we all had. I think when Kim and Nathan moved North, our friendships grew so much. Kim and Nathan would come to Boston at least once a month if not more to hang out. One trip they made was for my 30th birthday. We had such a fun time and took many silly pictures, it meant so much to me.
There is so many more memories that we shared and I will forever cherish every moment we had.
I see you Kim, shining down on all of us and I cannot wait until we get to hang out again. I miss you and love you so much and am so thankful I was able to be with you.
Rest In Peace My Dear Friend!! <3

This is still such a tragedy and as a close friend to Nathan, and watching him through his highs and lows I know Kim was his ultimate high. She was his everything and her his. Their passion to this day is what drives me to be a better person. Her caring nature and love for others is such an inspiration. This tragic event could not be forgotten and supporting whatever good cause you want and thinking of Kim is what will help us all heal.

I don't even know where to start, there have been so many wonderful memories to share during the time I have know & been friends with Kim. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I will always remember the first time we met at Blue Martini in Orlando at a Chi Omega alumni event. I just moved to Orlando a couple months prior & she was so warm & welcoming to me. I knew from our meeting that we would be close friends :) She always knew how to make me smile & was so amazingly caring to everyone around her. She was & is so special to so many people.
There are so many things that remind me of her from Mac n' Cheese, Pita Pit, the beach, UCF football games, 4 Rivers, Seito Sushi, & so many more!
I am very blessed to have had Kim touch my life & to have known her. She will live on in my & our hearts & memories. She was such a beautiful & amazing friend & woman. There have been so many times where i recall a fond memory & it brings a smile to my face. I know we all have a special angel in heaven, Kim. I miss you & love you Kim! Until we meet again someday, love you! May your loving memory be eternal
My thoughts & prayers are with the Jessup family & Nathan. Love you all!! Kim's memory will live on in our hearts.

My family and I did not know Kim well which is what makes this part of her story so special. Two years ago she agreed through a mutual friend to meet some complete strangers and their kids at the entrance to Magic Kingdom for the week. Because of Kim's generosity and sacrifice my family and I are still talking about that special family vacation that we would not have been able to go on had it not been for her. Just last week my five year old son was recalling some of his fondest memories and many of them were in Disney.
I wish I had had more time with her.

When I think of Kim I picture her with a smile every time. Sometimes throughout the day something small will happen that will make me laugh and I can't help but think she had something to do with it. One of my trips back home to SC Kim road with me so she could go visit some of her family for Christmas. I think she brought more presents for them than she brought luggage for herself. :) She had packed sliced apples and other healthy snacks for the ride up and boy did they come in handy. She was always taking care of everyone around her. I don't know how she did it. She never seemed to turn down an invite to anything. She always brought something she cooked to all of the get togethers. (Her famous mac and cheese will go down in history.) Kim always seemed to have it all put together. :) I can say this without any hesitation - she lived the life that people who have twice as much time on this earth can only hope to live. Let the way she lived her life be an inspiration to us all. Her passing isn’t just a loss for those of us that know and love her but it is a loss for all of those who will never get the chance to. She will forever be in our hearts and forever be missed. The world might have lost a very special person but heaven sure did gain an amazing angel.
My heart goes out to her family and Nathan. I think of you guys often and will keep you in my prayers.

Kim and I came close to meeting back in 2008 when she flew to Dominican Republic to visit my then girlfriend (and now wife)Davida. I was away in another town that weekend for a family event. Davida always referred to Kim as her best friend, and always mentioned how grateful she was that Kim had visited her almost everywhere she moved and how they'd managed to stay in touch despite living on opposite sides of the world. I finally had the chance to meet Kim in Charleston, last year when we met up for Easter weekend at her father Roy's house. As soon as I met her I confirmed what I had been hearing about her, she was welcoming and kept a huge smile in her face at all times. We had a fantastic weekend in Charleston with Nathan, whom I'd just met as well, and afterwards, made promises to get together again. We visited them in CT last march, for Nathan's birthday and again, I was blown away at Kim's dedication to make Nathan's birthday as special as only she knew how to. He did not know she had planned a great dinner with friends(a lot from out of town), a special tour of ESPN studios, where she worked, and a trip to a Casino later that evening. She had everything down to the last detail, it was clear evidence of the kind of person she was, and how much she loved Nathan. I saw Kim a few more times after that, both times in NY, when she came to visit and then work. The four of us had lunch at Bryant Park the Friday before she was due to leave for Hawaii.
Although I only got to see her a few times, I could see that she was full of life and willing to go out there and live it.
Rest in peace dear friend.

Nathan was dating Kim for a while when I first found out about her. Nathan had passed out one day and Kim took him to the hospital and stayed with him the entire night. His family is scattered throughout the United States and none of us were there. From that time, I knew Kim was special. When I finally met her, I loved her right away. I hoped and knew that one day she would be my daughter-in-law. The few times we were able to see Nathan and Kim, they were all memorable experiences. Kim may have been on vacation while visiting us, but she was continually doing a job for ESPN. Kim seemed very shy; she was quiet at first. I told her right away that she was part of our family, so she had to help herself to whatever she could find in the refrigerator. And she did. Kim will always be in my heart. I miss her every day. Each morning when I get up, I go outside, look up into the sky, and say, "good morning, Kim. How are you doing today?" I know she is watching over my darling son. She and Nathan were meant for each other. And I am very proud to have known her and to have loved her.

Two things I remember about Kim the most... her booming laugh and how cool she was when we toured ESPN.
Her laugh was contagious and when she found something funny… it was REALLY funny! She was always so sweet and laughed at most of my corny jokes, but every once in a while I’d get her with something she could really chuckle at... and when she’d laugh, I couldn’t help but laugh too! :)
Second, we toured ESPN one time when we visited Connecticut. I was like a little kid with my head on a swivel. ESPN?!!! Sooo cool! But I’ll never forget watching Kim and seeing how professional and passionate she was that day. Here I felt like I was having the best day of my life, in total astonishment, yet for Kim, it was just a walk in the park. She was my hero that day! :)
Miss you Kim!
This is the night I met Kim.

The first time I met Kim was at mine and my husband's surprise engagement party in New Jersey in April of 2009. Nathan and Kim flew from Orlando to New Jersey to celebrate a special time in my life. In addition to the party being a surprise my friends wanted Nathan to be a surprise too so he was hidden. When I walked in the room to loud cheers I was stunned and overwhelmed at the surprise and I locked eyes to an unfamiliar face standing and smiling in the corner. We just looked at each other and somehow I knew exactly who she was. I smiled and I said "Is my brother here?" That unfamiliar, friendly face was Kim and I will always remember that moment. She just stared at me and smiled. I think she didn't want to ruin the surprise for me (but I knew) and then Nathan came out from hiding and introduced me to his girlfriend, Kim. Kim doesn't know this, but she taught me a lot in the short time I knew her, however, I am MOST grateful for what she taught my brother. She taught Nathan what it means to REALLY and TRULY be loved by someone and he is going to carry that for the rest of his life. That is an amazing gift...and it is a gift that will keep on giving.
Rest in peace, Kim. I will see you again one day and I look forward to that radiating smile of yours.

I met Kim when she joined our staff at PSE-3 in 2004. We became friends because she saw past my rough exterior and was tolerant of my frequent mood swings. We remained friends when she left because she kept me grounded, provided checks and balances in my life, and gave such sound, level-headed advice. She knew the things to say to make me laugh when I was being a grouch. She became my personal cheerleader … especially in the last year as I searched for a new job.
Because I live in Raleigh, which has the most convenient airport to Rocky Mount, I was often able to meet Kim when she was passing through on her way to visit home. I picked her up and spent the day with her when she was last home in early December before heading down to a wedding in Charleston. We spent the afternoon at the mall, purchased wedding gifts, ate lunch with my boyfriend (had some cheesecake) and then went to her favorite ice cream spot, Goodberries, and sat in the car on a super-cold day and ate our bricks. That was so … Kim.
During our drive to Rocky Mount we talked about a lot of silly nonsense and about our futures. I cried … a lot, both silly and sad tears. This bull-headed, loud-mouthed grump was always softened and weak in Kim’s presence. She really got to me … and got me. She always understood me and has been a great friend.
I think about Kim multiple times daily. I wonder what she would have told me to do in certain situations, what she would have thought about different things … I miss her input. In retrospect, we didn’t talk as much as I wish we would have, but every conversation and every encounter in the last few years has been memorable.
I was only able to visit her once while she was in Orlando. It was shortly after she and Nathan began dating. I remember exchanging conversations with her that October about our newly found love interests and was fortunate enough to meet Nathan later in December. I’m so happy she found someone to take care of her then and that he is someone who cherished her enough to carry on her legacy today.
I struggle daily. It pains me that losing her has had such a great effect on me… primarily because it makes me think of what her other loved ones are feeling. She had such a great impact on me. And though she was not as close to me as she was with some of her other friends, but she meant the world to me and I knew I could always call if I needed anything. I can only imagine what Nathan, Rene, Katherine, her father, Ducky and other friends and family ones are going through. I think of them daily and pray that she is sharing with them the strength that she gave me in our many “commute conversations.” I could always count on a phone call once or twice a month when she was on her way home from Celebration.
On the other hand, Kim was one of my closest friends; I opened up to her. She was the kind of friend I needed and I miss her so, so much.
cheers pretty lady

I met Kim because my sister Deanna was her roommate in Florida. Although I didn't get to spend a lot of time around her, she taught me a lot about life. I'll never forget how positive and happy she always was; she worried about everybody else before her own self. She touched many people and will forever be there to help us all be the best we can. Hawaii will have a forever place in our hearts - I'll never forget the smile she had the entire time. I feel blessed to have known Kim and I'm so grateful that my sister was able to have such an amazing friend who will continue to give her, and the rest of us strength, guidance, and hope. I will never forget all the valuable lessons Kim has taught me. We miss you Kim - you're a truly inspiring woman.

I've only seen Kim a couple of times. But everytime I saw her she was always happy. The last memory of Kim I have is spending Easter with her, Nathan, Hallie and Dave in Maryland. Sat. we sat around talking and having fun site seeing and later having an awesome supper and spending time playing games and just enjoying evryones company. I'm pretty sure she liked the Easter candy I brought all of them. Sunday after church we had a great Easter lunch. I gave her a huge hug as always. Kim will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched. we can keep her memory and spirit alive in us all. She was such an infectous person with her love of life and my nephew Nathan.
