1912 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Tiny Normadean Estes went home to her master and savior on January 5, 2013, at the age of 100, passing away in Duncan, OK. She was born June 26, 1912 at Retrop, OK., to William S. and Mary Merril Clare.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Lakeside Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Lawrence Gresham and Rev. Randy Widner with interment to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Okla. City under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Tiny and Fred Estes were married March 25, 1930 and he preceded her in death May 5, 1973.

Tiny was a homemaker and graduated from Retrop High School at the age of 16. She was a charter member of Lakeside Baptist Church where she served as a nursery worker and also worked in the children's department. Tiny loved to sew and bake. She raised her two oldest children in west Texas and her two younger children In Okla. City

In 1973 she moved to Lake Humphrey with her husband. She worked several places including the Clear Creek Lake Concession, Lakeside Grocery and operated the Stephens County Snackbar in the early 1980's. In the mid 1980's she moved to Ruidoso Downs, NM., to work for her daughter and son-in-law operating a RV park and was a treasured member of the First Baptist Church there.

Survivors include 3 children, Nona & Orval Blankenship, Ruidosa Downs, NM., F.L. & Donna Estes, Duncan, OK., Marva & Norbin Taylor, Del Rio, TX., 4 sisters, Crawford & Wendell Cowles, Ft. Worth, TX., Madge & Al Harvey, CA., Sondra & John Keesee, and Joyce Kay & Tony Hedrick, both of Hobart, OK., 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, her parents, W.S. and Mary Merril Clare, a son, Bill Estes, a sister, Lola Rogers, and 6 brothers, Jack, Judge, Sam, Clifford, Charles, Leon and Clare.

Pallbearers will be Lonnie Estes, David Hill, Steve Blankenship, Estes Conklin, Cody Manion and Matthew Estes.

Honorary bearers will be Kevin Hill, Scott Stevens, Rusty Smith, Cody Conklin, Jackson Carrio, Danny Hodges, Brian Brack and Natan Carrio.

Memorials may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church.
