My heart goes out to Casey's family and the countless people who Casey touched by his enthusiasm and love for life. We are all saddened and feel this huge loss.
What a great guy and bright light! I spent 3 happy years from 7- 9th grade often doubled over with laughter with Casey and my classmates at Morristown-Beard. He treated you like a friend and that was that. He told great stories about skateboarding in California. Casey was always confident and fearless. He would talk to anyone and often finish it with a joke. Casey was electrifying to watch on the ice--very fast as he sliced and diced. After 9th grade, we both went away to boarding schools in Connecticut. Casey worked with my best friend in New York, and hello's were exchanged. They both hit it off. Not a surprise. The circle completed. Another lucky person to be around the great Casey Archer. Rest in Peace Brother.

Casey, we miss you. We are thankful that together with Irene, her mom -Violeta, her sister - Ilene, and I were able to be with you at Mount Sinai Hospital emergency room at the end of your life. We will cherish the memories that you shared with us and the occasions you shared with the family: birthdays, graduations, wedding anniversaries, mother's day, father's day, and most of all, December 2012, the Christmas holiday that you spent in the Philippines with the entire family. All family members - here and in the Philippines - hold you dearly in their hearts. Eternal rest grant unto you, Casey, and may you rest in peace.

I first Met Casey at Morrisstown-Beard School in 1980. He was one of those people you just wanted to be around. Full of fun, mischief, and laughter. The world is a little dimmer without his light in it.

Casey and I met in Kindergarten and became best friends and we were in lock step through grade 9, the first hockey skates I ever purchased were with him, first hockey practice, clinic, teams were with him, first HS Hockey shift, travel hockey, our families became intertwined, his Mom Ginger, my 2nd Mom, his Dad Fred, my 2nd Dad...Sister Kristen, my 2nd Sister. Through good times and bad, we were together, his house was right around the corner, we are the same age, I am so shocked and saddened and can't believe you are gone, my heart breaks for Ginger, Fred, Kristen and her children, I love you buddy, god bless you! tl
