Carolyn Florence Smith

1928 - 2016

Born Carolyn Florence Fredrickson, on Jan. 20, 1928, to Daryl E. & Winifred C. (Stinson) Fredrickson in Sacramento, CA and passed on April 14, 2016 in Sacramento, CA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clayton L. Smith, and son Martin C. Smith. She is survived by her son, Clayton W. Smith and daughter, Debra L. Smith. She left behind 8 grandchildren and 7 grandchildren. She was very involved in the sewing arts and belonged to the Pioneer Doll Club, and the Red Hat Ladies. Both the Fredrickson and Stinson families date back to the 1860's. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Florin United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Florin United Methodist Women, or the charity of your choice.
