A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, 'Al' entered into rest peacefully on January 10, 2013. A native of Roseville, Al leaves a devoted family behind including his loving wife of 72 years Constance Mirtoni, son David Mirtoni, brother Merle Mirtoni, daughter-in-law Susan Mirtoni, grandson Matthew Mirtoni and his wife Michelle Mirtoni, granddaughter Christine Lemos and her husband Matt Lemos, great-grandchildren Courtney Lemos, Nathan Lemos, Annie Lemos, Lauren Mirtoni, nieces and nephews Kathleen Mirtoni, Nathan Allred, Sarah Crowell, Lynn and Pat Sandlin, Eric Sandlin, Nicole Sandlin, Ray and Mickie Merlino (and family), Steve and Terry Salardino, Stephen Salardino, David Salardino, Karen Coggin, Michael Belluomini and caregiver Teena Thornbrugh. A World War II Veteran, Al served with the Army Air Force in the Pacific Theatre. Al was a proud member and founder of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Roseville, Italian Catholic Federation, American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Al will always be remembered for his love of life, his family, and his wonderful friends.

David, Sorry to hear about your loss. Your dad was a positive influence on aii of us as little leagers even when his son was striking us out with his curve ball. I think he did a great job as a father also.

We are sorry for your loss. He was part of the greatest generation, as was my father. We never knew that he grew up on my street, Aloha, my father never mentioned it or I forgot. Our thoughts and prayers are with Connie and her family.
