''Scotty''
Passed away in Elk Grove, on January 18, 2006. Born on April 11, 1929 in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. Survived by his wife Peggy and his children Natalie Moore and Marie Thomson of Pacifica, CA and step-sons and their wives Richard and Irene Wall of Phoenix, AZ and Ken and Rose Anna Wall of Port Townsend, WA. His family of sister in-law Marion, (nieces) Jeanne Butcher (spouse-Brian), Jenny, Kristi, (nephew and wife) Ross and Mary Thomson. Proud grandfather of Robbi, Lana, Ben (wife-Shannon), Deborah, Thomas, Kenny, Jessica, Melissa, and Sean. Great grandfather of Finlay Ross III, Aspen, Nolan and Patrick. He enjoyed his second family with his employment at the Signal Department for Western Pacific RR later being Union Pacific for 42 years. Retiring as a Construction Engineer in 1989. He also enjoyed his third family, Rail Technology for 15 years. He retired to gardening, do-it-yourself, maintaining his koi pond, computers and grand parenting. His direct and truthful way will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services are Monday, January 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at South East Lawn Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, CA. Visitation hours will be Sunday 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Committal is at South East Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Heart Association. 2007 O Street Sacramento, CA 95814.

Dear Peggy and family,

My heart goes out to you in this sorrowful time. David was a prince of a fellow. I will always remember his gentleness and his dignity. May he rest in peace.
