Our precious wife and mother went to be with her Lord on July 5, 2018. She will be dearly missed by her sweetheart George who she married nearly 65 years ago, her children Victoria Valine (Jeffery), Randall Carasco (deceased), Pamela Gould (Steven), grandchildren Christina Uribe (Gary), Morgan Gould, Julie Spiker (John), Brandy Berrian (Michael), and Jay Valine, great-grand-children Hunter, Jake, Caleb, Jase, and Madison, dear friend Vickie Tereau, and caregiver Linda Oliver. Betty used her talents to create the first space suit at the Seattle World's Fair, designed costumes professionally, made porcelain dolls, painted ceramics, crocheted, became a Master Gardener, and passed her talents on to others with her loving nature. She was selfless in caregiving to the love of her life, George, who is forever grateful for her devotion. Visitation will be held July 16 at 4:00-6:00 pm at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 pm. Funeral mass to be held July 17 at 10:00 am at St. Maria Goretti Church in Elk Grove, followed by graveside service at East Lawn Cemetery in Elk Grove.
