Clyde Provo Cass (1929 - 2018)

Clyde Provo Cass, of Carmichael California, born on May 29, 1929 in Huron, South Dakota, to the late Beth and Daniel Cass, passed away at age 88 on May 19, 2018 in Sacramento, California. Clyde graduated from S. Dakota State University in 1952 and Colorado State University with a Master in 1972. Clyde served in the Air Force Reserves from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. Professionally he worked as a Civil Engineer on the Oroville Dam. Clyde was the beloved husband of 59 years of the late Judith Edmonds Cass. He is survived by his four children; Cheryl(Laurel) Cass, Sheila (Bert) Logan, Craig Cass, and Caryn (Del) Cass; sister, Carolyn McGough; grandchildren, Caitlin and Bert Logan, Austin and Blake Cass; and friend, Ann Heatlie. Clyde enjoyed computers, hand and foot card games, chorus, RVing to all 50 states, boating and fishing. He was a member of SPCUG and WPA.
