Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on January 9th at the age of 85. She was born in New York and has been a resident of Sacramento for over 70 years. She was preceded in death by husband, Donald Carano; parents, Joseph and Antoinette Noto; sister, Rosemarie "Roe" McClure; and brother-in-law, Cliff McClure. Dolores was the matriarch of a loving family. Her daughter, Deborah Virga (Judge Michael G. Virga); and son, Dominic (Lucille), will miss her dearly. She will be most missed by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she unconditionally loved so dearly. She was granddaughters Nicole and Natalie's "biggest fan." What completed her life was the opportunity to share in the life of her great-grandchildren, Avery, Michael, Leonidas, Benicio, Harbor, Titus and recent addition Marcus. She will be greatly missed by her niece and "second daughter," Denise Fleming; and nephews, Rick and Kenny Mooradian. She was a friend to many and maintained lifelong friendships with friends, Norma Maria, Irene DeKellis; and brother-in-law, Vince Carano. She loved spending time on the coast with her family. Dolores was the "queen of pasta," honing her Italian cooking skills working in her parent's restaurant. She was the glue that held together the family drapery business. A Funeral Mass will be said in her honor on January 18th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Parish, 660 Florin Road, Sacramento, followed by a reception in the Memorial Center.
