Elva "Elvie" Loyd Craighton was born February 1, 1936, in Fairplay, Missouri, to the late Ray and Norma Craighton. He passed away May 9, 2018 at home with his loving family. He was a wonderful husband of 57 years to Delores Craighton. He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. He is a retired Sacramento City employee of 33 years, a lifetime member of the American Legion post #832, and past member of the Roseville Elks Lodge #2248. He is survived by his wife, Delores; sister, Rosalie Barlow; brothers-in-law; sister-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Jo and Dorothy Campbell; and brother, Bruce Craighton. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11am.
