January 23, 1935 - December 23, 2020
Citrus Heights, California - Frances Elsie Breien, 85, of Citrus Heights, passed peacefully at home in her sleep on December 23, 2020. Memorial service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers or donations, please follow Fran's example of loving one another and practicing random acts of kindness whenever possible.
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and nurse. Member of Christ Community Church with strong faith and a servant's heart.
Frances was born on January 23, 1935 in Tracy, California. She is a graduate of Palo Alto High School and the San Joaquin General Registered Nursing program.
Frances Case married Douglas Breien on May 28, 1960 in Carson City, Nevada. They had four children together and created a loving home filled with wonderful stories and memories. Frances retired over 30 years ago, dedicating time to traveling the world with her husband Douglas, investing time, effort, and love into four generations of family, volunteering within her church family, and keeping in contact with countless friends. Frances valued her family above all things on earth. She is now in our Father's House and will be greatly missed. (John 14:1-7)
Frances is survived by her loving husband Douglas; Children: Raina (Steve) Swaggerty, Dana (Howard) Michael, Kristine (Ron) Comer, & Eric Breien; Grandchildren: Brandon, Andrew, Ashley, Taylor, Brittney, Cody, Brittany, Alexa, Austin, & Jadyn; Great Granddaughter Ava Grace; and her siblings Carol Foley and Robert Case.
