Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on September 9, at the age of 89. Helen was born in Chicopee Falls, MA, on January 7, 1929. She has been a resident of Roseville, CA since 1984. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Farney and her son Steven. She is survived by her daughter Mimi Sharpe, granddaughter Mallory Sharpe, great grandson Emmit Sharpe-Andreotti, sisters Alice Sobota, Dina Koliada, Dora Le Blanc, nieces, nephews and many friends. Helen was an avid golfer for over 40 years and will be greatly missed by the friends she made on "the greens." After illness and age ended her game, she enjoyed Bunco and monthly luncheons with the "gals." Helen possessed a spirit and enthusiasm for life that touched every person lucky enough to have made her acquaintance. As friends and family can attest, Helen never did anything slow; she walked, talked, and thought fast. A favorite phrase of her's: "Here's your hat, where's your hurry!" We'll miss you Helen!
