Honoruth Finn Corbett, of Carmichael, Ca, daughter of Harold and Eileen Finn, born January 24, 1938 in San Francisco, Ca passed away June 19, 2018. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James; her stepdaughter, Ann Neuhaus; and her brothers, Harold "Mike", Hannon, and Thomas Finn. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and their children; and stepsons and stepdaughters, as well as her adored step grandchildren. Honoruth graduated from St. Rose High School, SF; attended Dominican College, San Rafael; earned her Bachelors degree from San Francisco College for Women (Now USF); earned her Masters in Education from University of San Francisco; and pursued doctorate studies in educational administration at the Claremont Graduate School. Honoruth had a special gift with young people, especially with teenagers. She chose to work in Education because in her words "I've always really enjoyed school, and I love learning". She began her career teaching English. She then served as a counselor at the high school level for 8 years; then moved into various administrative capacities specializing in personnel management and labor relations. Honoruth was an Associate with the Sisters of Social Service. Rosary on Friday, July 20 at 7:00pm & Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 21 at 1:00 pm at Saint Ignatius Loyola, 3235 Arden Way, Sacramento.
