Kent Lester Lynch entered Heaven on Friday, December 21st at 5:21 pm. He was surrounded by some of his church family at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael. He was 59 years old. Kent was born the only child to Glen and Beatrice Lynch on May 6, 1959. He lived in the greater Sacramento Area his whole life. Kent graduated from Luther Burbank High in 1978. He worked at Good Will for a while then for many years as a caregiver at Development Disabilities Service Organization until the end of 2014. Kent loved helping and serving others. He served many people through New Life Community Church, his church of 31 years. Kent's life revolved around being at church. He loved the Lord and his church family. He had a passion for Sunday Bible Study Class and the church service. Midweek he loved the men's Bible Study, the seniors Hill Toppers group and going downtown to feed the homeless. Kent volunteered at every special outreach we did as well. Kids Summer Program, Backpack give away before school starts, Harvest Festival (safe alternative for kids instead of trick or treating) and Winter Sanctuary where we take extra special care of some homeless people for a week. Kent was a kind and gentle man, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. All are welcome to join us celebrating Kent's life on Thursday, January 17th 11:00am New Life Community Church 8101 Sunset Ave., Fair Oaks, CA 95628. Memorial donations in Kent's name may be made to New Life Community Church.
