Lloyd Charles Graybill, the first Chief Counsel for the California Public Employees Retirement System, devoted family man and friend to many passed away on August 2, 2018. He was born on November 30, 1917, in Pennsylvania, the youngest of Aaron Gieb and Ellen Charles Graybill's nine children. Lloyd, husband of Beatrice Bromell Graybill (deceased), and father of Jonathan Graybill (also deceased) is survived by his eldest son Geoffrey Graybill, his daughter Christina Graybill, and six grandchildren: Aaron and wife Casey, Micah, Jordan, Kira, Hilary and husband Scott, and Jacob, as well as two great grandchildren: Anna and Alice. He was gentle and deeply compassionate, and enjoyed retirement living in Roseville and Graeagle, California. His family and friends were able to express their love and appreciation to him at a Centennial celebration last year. He is irreplaceable. Family and friends are invited to attend a Viewing and "Celebration of Life" at the St. Francis Chapel located at Sierra Hills Memorial Park, 5757 Greenback Lane in Sacramento on August 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
