Roger Cramer Obituary

CRAMER, Roger Lee
(Lt. Col., Ret.)
Went to be with his Lord on October 7, 2008. He passed away peacefully at home after a long life as loving husband and father, faithful Christian, and loyal friend.
After a career as a military hospital administrator, Roger and his wife Sib settled in the Sacramento area, working together and enjoying travel and friends around the world. Roger gave generously of his time to Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder, Parish Leader, and in several other capacities. He volunteered his time on behalf of youth swimming in Pacific Swimming, serving for years as Treasurer.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sib, daughters Kathryn Page of San Francisco, Judy Kinney and husband John of Alma, Arkansas, Kitty Hudson-Cawley and husband Michael of Davis, Ramona Cramer of West Sacramento, and son Roger and wife Lori of South Lake Tahoe. He is also survived by twin sister Ruth and Michael Russo of Oak Harbor, Washington. His surviving grandchildren include granddaughter Lexi Hudson, grandsons Tim Carns and wife Tina, Evan Hudson, Erik and Brandon Cramer, and great-grandchildren Hannah, Bethany, Daniel, Carissa and Gabrielle Carns.
Roger's life was directed toward service to others. He was truly an officer and a gentleman. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
