Sandra Joy (Sandy) Guillory, 75, of Sacramento, passed away on Tuesday, September 11th, 2018. She was born in Berwyn, Illinois, on July 26th, 1943, to the late Edward and Violet Vyskocil. At the age of 12 Sandy moved to West Sacramento where she graduated from James Marshall High in 1961. A few short months later she went to a USO dance where she met and then married Milburn (Mil) Guillory. Sandy worked for 4 years as a secretary for the state of California before becoming a full time mom. Sandy's number one priority was her children and their activities. She loved to travel with her husband, and she was an avid Disney fan. Sandy closely followed the Chicago Cubs since age of 12. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mil, and three of her children, Theresa, Michael, and Kenneth, and two grandchildren, Jacob and Keri. She is also survived by her younger sister, Penny Jew-Garcia as well as several extended family and friends. She is predeceased by 3 children, Steven, Russell, and Rebecca. A viewing will be held at East Lawn Elk Grove @ 9189 East Stockton Blvd on Wednesday, September 19th, from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral will take place at 10am on Thursday, September 20th, followed by the interment and a reception.
