Sue Hunter passed away on July 14, after a short illness and bout with cancer. She she is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Hunter and two two sons Scott (Marion) of San Jose and Todd (Melissa) of Parker, Colorado and three grand children Elizabeth, John and Emily, Sue was born in Stockton, Ca. and attended Stockton schools and San Jose State College. She taught schools in Stockton, Sacramento and the San Juan school district. Sue was an avid traveler and had been to all continents except Antarctica. She loved to cruise both ocean and river, having cruised on all the rivers in Europe as well as in Russia and China. Sue enjoyed collecting items while traveling, from Christmas ornaments around the world to Russian stacking dolls. Before moving to Roseville she had lived in College Greens and Gold River a number of years. There will be a Celebration of Life at Blue Line Arts, 405 Vernon Street, Roseville on Sunday, September 2nd from 3 to 5PM. Sue loved jewelry and bright colors, come dressed in yours to honor her, Please let John know if you can attend. Remembrance can be to a or to the SPCA or Broadway Sacramento.
