Wilmer T. Black, 92 born 1925 in Miami, Florida, passed away on Sept. 8, 2018. He is survived by his wife Eunice Black, sister Ima Jean McBryde and brother Carl Black (deceased). Children: Paula Orlandella, (Ralph), Darryl Black, (Suzie), and Brian Black, (Susan). Step children: Serafin Lara, Jodie Krumland, (Scott), and Mario Lara, (Sherry). He had several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He served in the US Navy, WWII and the Korean conflict. He was employed with the State Dept. of Forestry for 37 years and retired as Battalion Chief (ECC Officer) in the Command Center Sacramento Headquarters. Graveside burial service will be at East Lawn, Elk Grove Mortuary on Sept. 14, 2018 at 12:00 noon with reception following. We want to thank the Kaiser Hospice Staff for all the kind care and support. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Kaiser Hospice in his memory.
