Yuet Trudy Y. Wong

Yuet "Trudy" Y. Wong, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 22, 2016. Yuet was born in Guangdong, China. She graduated High School in China before marrying John P. Wong and coming to the United States. Together with John, she spent a number of years running a successful Chinese Restaurant, Jon Yuen Restaurant, in Davenport, IA for 25 years and for several years in Stockton, CA. In 1994, they retired and moved to California where she loved to grow fruit trees in the back yard. In 2014, John passed away. Throughout her life, Yuet was known for her generous and loving nature, hard work, perseverance, and dedication to her family. Yuet is survived by her mother, 2 brothers, 2 sister, 4 daughters, 2 sons, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to a viewing Friday, June 3 4:30pm-7:30pm and a Memorial Service Saturday, June 4 starting at 10am at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park at 9189 E.
