FRUGE', John William
Jan 30, 1977-June 14, 2006
Survived by parents Daniel Fruge' and Susan Jones Lewis, sister Sheila Forge' and Alexis Fruge', brother Ryan Lewis, stepmother Valerie Hesse, brother-in-law Matt Forge', grandmother Mary Cary, grandfather Anthony Fruge', and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He graduated from Ponderosa High School in 1995 and attended American River College. John was very athletic and loved all sports. He played football for Capital City Fury football team. He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan. He loved motorcycles and women. He lived life fast and furious. We love you, John; you died too soon. Memorial services to be held at Lombard's Chapel, 1550 Fulton Ave., Sacramento, CA 95825, on Monday, June 19, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Viewing and memorial services to be held. Donation to MADD in lieu of flowers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Fruge family and all those who knew John. I have fond memories of John from my childhood. From what I have read here in the guestbook it seems that those who knew him as a young man and later as an adult were quite fond of him as well. I was saddened to hear the news of his passing.

Times like this makes it so hard to put words together. John Fruge would say hang tight you will get your chance, when it comes make the best of it and don’t let me down, encouraging, motivating that's how I know him. John you will be missed. You have touched us all. To John's parents and the rest of his family.
God sees the Fruge’s family through this time of mourning. Give them the strength to carry on, the whispers of John letting them know that he is home in your care, so that they can move on in great memories that he has left them with us with to forever hold in his name, John rest in peace. Amen.

I never got the chance to personally meet John, but my son and daughter enjoyed precious time bowling, boating & enjoying a friendship with John or as they called him (Rocko). My son said his smile was his trademark and wherever he went, a room would brighten when John came in, because the first thing you saw, would be his grin. I send my deepest condolences to the family.

For a time John and I were "partners in crime" at Ponderosa HS. Cruising around in his maroon car, monkeying around in Home Ec., skipping class and going to the lake, and always making each other laugh. This is what I will always remember about John. My deepest sympathy to his family.
