Dwante E. Patterson
SALISBURY - Dwante Eugene "Te' the Great" Patterson, 32, died on Thurs-day, Nov. 29, 2011.
Born in Cabarrus County June 24, 1979, he was the son of Oliver Robinson and Barbara Jean Maxwell. He was employed in lawn and landscaping service and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by eight sons, Isaah, Preston, Dewante, Nautica, Passion, Jaden, Jaylen and Jihad, all of Salisbury; six daughters, Brianna, Destiny, Telicia, Julianna, Sanaa and London, all of Salisbury; a sister, Tameca Patterson; three nieces, India and Shai Ann Connor, Ny'Deijah Patterson; nephew Jazeer Wagoner; his girlfriend of 13 years, Julia Medrano; and a host of family members and loved ones.
Service and Visitation: A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. at Love Christian Center at 102 N. Long St. in East Spencer with Dr. Ronald Hash overseeing and Dr. Kevin Bost eulogizing. Burial will be in the Byers Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the church.
