Janice Knickrehm Obituary

1925 ~ 2013
Janice Knickrehm was called home and back into the loving arms of Jesus and her loving husband "Gus" on January 23, 2013.
She is survived by her six children, Matthew, Honore, John, Gene, Maggie and Gus along with their loving spouses, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, with one more great grandchild on the way.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth. She is also survived by her many friends in the Salt Lake City and Bountiful communities she vibrantly lived in for the past 22 years. To Lucy, Gloria and the whole gang, she cherished her time together with you all and always looked forward to the next party at "The Left Fork Grill." Full of life to the end, reading any book she could get her hands on and doing her crossword puzzles daily kept Janice as "sharp as a tack". Janice was an actress and starred in 13 Theatre and made for TV movies including "Halloween IV", her first movie in 1995 and culminating with "Den Brother", her last movie in 2010, she could also be seen in billboard ads, commercials, and the television series "Touched By an Angel". Janice met the love of her life and her only "True Companion", our Dad Gus while they were both working for the CIA, Gus passed on January 21, 1990. Gus and Janice are together again and in each other's arms.
A memorial mass will be held for Janice on February 2nd, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church 1375 E Spring Lane, Salt Lake City, Utah. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.

I was saddened to hear about your mother's passing. I am glad that she is in Heaven serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I taught with Janice for many years at Cabrillo High School. Also, for a number of years we carpooled to CHS. We had many enjoyable times of sharing our faith and discussing various topics during that time.

Knickrehm Family, Brett and I only met Janice a couple of times but knew with our first visit what a lovely lady she was! We feel we know her and the family through our brother and best friend Gus. We are so relieved to know that Gus got to go home at Christmas and spend time with his mom and siblings as that is very important to him. We are sure she loved having you all there. We know she is at peace where she is as her faith was so strong. We send love and condolences to all of you. God Bless! Brett, Jennifer, Chelsea and Zach Holley
