Elder Larsen was one of the most Savior-like persons I've ever know--loving, humble, kind, thoughtful, gentle, wise and worthy of emulation.
My love to his endless posterity.

Dean Larsen was a special friend of our family in Lovell, Wyoming. He worked closely with my Father Frank Brown in position in the Big Horn Stake. He was a close personal friend of Frank and Delilah Brown and the rest of the family . He and his lovely wife spent many hours in our home. He was greatly loved in the positions he held in the Lovell School District . When the family moved it left a huge hole in our community and our stake. Much love to all of you and know that we have last memories of your Dad and mother as well as the rest of the family.

Elder Dean L. Larsen
Elder Dean L. Larsen was a great man, and a huge mentor and influence in my life. He was my mission president in the Texas South Mission, and remained a mentor, influence, and friend throughout my life. We visited him at his home as we finished at the MTC and prior to departing for our senior (Humanitarian Services) mission to Cape Verde, and visited him again when we returned last August. He was so thrilled to talk about Cape Verde, since he presided over that when he was President of the Europe West Area, with Elder Uchtdorf and Elder Anderson as his counselors. He fondly told us stories of visiting there. He served with Becky's father, Elder Wirthlin, as a General Authority, and both served with the Priesthood Executive Committee, Church magazines, Sunday School, and other assignments. They were good friends. Throughout his life, whether Elder Larsen served as a seminary/institute teacher, a basketball coach, a mission president, with the Indian Placement program, or the countless other things he did, he was always a perfect example, a great gentleman, and a great friend and influence to all he associated with. We will always love him through eternity.
