Although I didn't know Aaron, my heart goes out to his family. I was very touched watching the funeral procession. I am proud to say that my sons helped to line the street saluting and standing near the flags. It was very impressive to see so much support from the many different police, fire, and rescue vehicles. He must have been an incredible person. What an honor it must be to have known him. Thank you for your service and thank you to all those who supported him and him family during the funeral.

Although we never met, we remember seeing him in amateur radio using the APRS locating system, allowing us to "watch" him as he travelled the valley roadways. He was always busy keeping folks safe using all his skills. Our sincere condolences.

Aaron served in the Oakland California mission with my daughter, Rebecca. He was her first district leader. When he came to visit us after he got home and he found out I worked for the UHP, he was all about finding out how to get hired. I helped him get hired and he was a great person and wonderful to work with. He will be always missed and loved forever.
