Tony loved "Buckskinnin'", and he loved being Santa. I knew him in both capacities. He played Santa in several commercials I made at KUTV over the years, including one for Kirkhams, and one or two for the station. You couldn't find a better "Jolly Old Elf". And he made sure he never broke character in front of kids. He WAS Santa.

He loved camping in period garb with The Mountain Men of the Wasatch, and in later years always visited the rendezvous' at Fort Buenaventura and Fort Bridger when he was up to it. He was very proud of his association with Native American people.

Tony will be missed by many people here, but I expect from now on he will have "something in his bag" for the angels each Christmas.

To Donna and family -The first time I met Tony was when his sister, Mary, introduced me to him and his friend, Buzz Behle. It was a warm summer day and the two of them were playing a game of "fling the cards into a hat" at Tony's house. I remember double dating w/you and Tony; going to concerts at Lagoon and of playing

cards w/the Kelsey's.

May your memories and knowing others care help sustain you in your sorrow.

To the Zucca Family,

My Dad was a scouting buddy with Tony. And when I was growing up I thougth Tony was the REAL Santa. He came to my school in 5th grade and it was the best year ever. And when I had children they got to experience the same things I did. We have a picture of my 2 children on his lap hanging in our house right now.

WE have really missed him the last couple of years.

We are really sorry that the Best Santa ever has passed away.

This world lost a great man with the passing of Tony. I've had the great honor of knowing Tony through many venues, scouting, native american events, and rendezvous. I was always inspired by his positive outlook on life, even though he had many trials of his own, I will miss his great stories and smile. My sincere condolences to his family. His spirit will always be here in our hearts.

To the family of Tony;

The notice of your father's death reached me in Charlotte, NC, If I had arrived two days later this message would not have been written. I have been out of the country for a number of months and have yet to return to Salt Lake.

I have known Tony in his wilder days and later in his reformed days. Both Tony's have always been a treat to me, but always in my memory will be the day he glued the shop projects to the shop tabletops. I am sure you will miss him greatly. He will always be a treasured memory to me.

Grandpa,

You were a great man. The little time I got to spend with you I will always remember. I could have learned so much from you. I wish we would have had more time together. It's unfortunate that it was your death that really made me realize this. I will always remember you, and promise to live up to the name sake. I will have you in my prayers and will also have Grandma, my Dad and Paul. I love you Grandpa.

Tony will be missed. He was like a father to me when my own father died. He was the best source of knowledge about the mountainman and Indian eras. He taught me alot and I will miss him. And to you Donna and family I say you are in my prayers. Tony is not hurting anymore. He is with Heavenly Father, and will watch over you. Please keep in touch with me for you are all in my prayers. Take one day at a time and grieve the loss. Remember him for how he was and what he believed in and that Heavenly Father is only a prayer away. Fill your days but remember not to over fill them. Take care of number one and the rest will take care of itself. I wish that I could be there for the funeral, but in nursing you can not always get the day off. this is the case here. I would love to hear the proceedings if you get a recording of the services. He was a good warrior to the end. I love you all. My address is 1109 Haworth Dr. NSL, UT 84054. my phone number is 801-295-0362 home, cell 5182977 or work is 487-5865. call me ok?
