"We Miss & Love You"
Arthur "Papa" Loyola, age 77 of Arlington, TX, passed away on May 29, 2017. He was born on May 28, 1940 in Dividend, Utah, and grew up in South Salt Lake. The son of Pedro and Jesus Garcia Loyola. Art married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Shoenfeld, and they celebrated 58 years of marriage together. The family moved to Texas. He graduated from Granite High School. Art was the youngest brother in the family.
Art leaves behind his wife, Carolyn; son Collin Loyola and wife Julie; granddaughter Laura Champine and husband Morgan; Danielle Robinson and husband Jeff and great grandson J.C; brothers Pete, Mike, Dave, Vern; sisters Lupe and Elizabeth. Art was preceded in death by his parents, his son Bart, brothers Manuel and Pedro, and sisters Cora and Evangelina.
Art worked many years in the drilling business, but most recently retired as a Diamond tool sales representative. He had an outgoing personality, a voice of Frank Sinatra, a wonderful sense of humor, and never met a stranger. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing tennis, skiing, and was passionate about working in his yard and spending time with his grandkids. He enjoyed the time he got to spend with his family, especially their many trips to Strawberry Lake, catching Rainbow trout. Art's smile and passion for family and life will be greatly missed by many.
A memorial service to celebrate Art's life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home, Bowen Road Chapel, Arlington, Texas.

Art and I worked at the same company for a lotta years and for many of those years we worked together on a personal basis. He was a wonderful man to work with and he was a hit with all of his customers. His attitude was always positive and fun. If he ever had a "down" day, I never saw it.

Carolyn, you have lost a great love and partner and you have our deepest sympathy and prayers. We hope that soon the loss will be replaced by happy memories for you and the whole Loyola family. With much love, Jerry and Eva.

Dear Art - I really enjoyed knowing you a great guy, lots of fun. You're probably in heaven showing everyone your magic tricks and making people happy!

Dear Carolyn and Collin - My deepest sympathy for your loss. I can't believe he has passed. I'm sure he and Bart are hugging each other.

Never a time that I seen Art that there wasn't a magic trick, always ready to entertain. He was a great person inside and out, and it was always fun to talk about his youth in Murray, Utah.
Thoughts and Prayers to the Loyola Family, he will be missed. RIP Art.
