Charles McAllister Hall 11/27/1930 ~ 3/15/2010 Our loving father Charles McAllister Hall passed away March 15, 2010. Charles was born on November 27th, 1930 to Henry Vernon and Luetta McAllister Hall in Mtn View, Wyoming. Eleanor McAlister Hall became Charles' mother when her older sister passed away at a very young age. Charles served a mission to Norway for the LDS church, and later in life a second mission with his dear wife to Brussels, Belgium. He gained bachelors and masters degrees from BYU in French and German. Charles later learned, Russian, Esperanto, some Dutch, Spanish and Turkish. He married Frankie Jane Taylor in the Salt Lake LDS temple on October 11th, 1957. Charles leaves a legacy of a brilliant mind, a desire to always be learning, and a love of all nations and people. He authored 10 books to help genealogists in the German and Prussian areas. He also founded two genealogical societies, Palatines to America and Federation of Eastern European Family History Societies. Charles is survived by his wife Frankie, Chas and Kathy Felt, Jonathan and Wendee Hall, Jared Hall, James and Angie Hall, Eric and Jeanette Koski, Dan and Juli Beaird, 21 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, numerous in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces, and many friends around the world. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 19, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at the Cottonwood 10th LDS chapel, 4930 S. Westmoor Rd. (1665 E.) Holladay, Utah. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment in the Santaquin City Cemetery Friday afternoon.
