Wow - Did not see this coming - I know I can truely say every minute Poppins has spent with my children Michael and Taylor and Myself and our other best buddy Spaz have been very wonderful with sooo many laughs and giggles. I can say she is definately one of the best friends of all times and I am missing her already - we had big dreams to move Her, Spaz and Chels down here to the great south and pick up where we left off - there will be an empty feeling there now as I know she has moved on to bigger and better places... I could go on for hours with all of our excellent adventures and experiences we had together - not one will I ever forget - and even better when I remember back at some of them I just break out laughing.
Love you Poppins! Miss you!!!

Karyn, my dear sweet friend. . . . .you will always live in my heart of memories. I remember when I first met you at Brown/Zannovich Brokerage Company and trained you as a salesperson. We hit it off instantly and started a wonderful journey in our friendship together.

We both helped each other in our husbands deaths and now, you stinker, you are there with them and I know they were thrilled to see you again. Tell them Hi for me.

You, Chelsey, Kami and I had some fun times; sleeping over, going to movies, watching our little gals sing in Star Sounds and just enjoying hanging out and laughing until we couldn't breathe.

You became like a sister to me Karyn and I will always cherish our times together.

Until we meet again!

Your friend,

Kathleen Balmforth

My sweet friend Poppins,
The day you showed up at my back gate like so many others before you,(only they all had four feet and a tail) I was sure that God had sent me an Angle. You fluttered into my life complete with wings and a halo. You brought with you the unconditional love only you could offer.
You never said no or turned me away, no matter what crazy thing I asked of you. Whether it be a pot of steamed rice for a sick dogs diet, nursing one or more sick cats back to health, cleaning the catery and my house, bringing me a home made pic nic dinner or offering me a shoulder to cry on over some silly man's antics to be followed up with a dose of your wisdom and sage advise on the matter. The list of special moments you have brought to my life goes on forever. I always knew you had my back.
I thank God every day that Miss Cindee brought you into my life. I will miss all the great times the three of us had together. You always brought your creative, magical, loving rainbow of color to everything you did. Whether hunting & photgraphing orbs, BBQing, folding Cindee's mountains of laundry or just drinking coffee or beer on the veranda.
"Poppins" was the perfect nick name for you. You were always there to feed us, doctor us up, clean up after us, make us laugh til we peed our pants and help us pick up the pieces of our lives every time they would fall apart. Chelsey told me you often said "what would I do without Spaz", well now I am left with the question, "what will I do without Poppins?"
You were an amazing woman and friend and you would be so proud of the beautiful daughter you have raised. In the time I have been able to spend with Chelsey in the last few days I have seen in her your strength, courage, wisdom and creativity. She has handled your passing with your same love and grace that you always brought to every expierience. Please know that your legacy will live on through her. The world has not lost you, we will always have Chelsey to tap into your sweet spirit.
It has been an honor and a privilage to be your friend. My only regrets are that I did not tell you how much you meant to me while you were here.
I know you will be waiting for me with an optimum temperature beer and all of my critters in tow. I wouldn't have missed lifes adventures with you for anything.
I love you and I miss you Poppins, we will be together in the blink of an eye.
And in your famous last words...
"Love you more, bye"

My Sister Karyn Lee Leggs, I can't believe you really left us this time. That wasn't supposed to happen so early in our lives - I really do love you & I know in my heart you know that now. Don't worry about Chelsea, we'll help her in any way we can. The ONLY good thing about this is you are finally out of pain. I love you & you will be with me always, Sister Deb

We haven't seen her for a few years, but we will always consider her one our dear memories of our years in school.
She made life a little better for those who knew her.
