
OGDEN - Elder Robert Brent Clark, 20, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, in Campinas, Brazil after a short illness, while serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was born December 28, 1981 in Logan, a son of Douglas Shaw and Susan Maughan Clark. Robby grad-uated from Woods Cross High School in 2000, where he was a high honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society. He enjoyed participating in track, cross country, baseball, and was on the debate team. He received numerous awards including Social Science Sterling Scholar. He attended Weber State University on an academic scholarship. Robby was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Orchard 5th Ward in North Salt Lake. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout and the Duty to God Award. Robby was tall of stature, both physically and spiritually, and blessed with great faith and understanding beyond his years. He was sensitive to others and always tried to make them happy. His enthusiasm for life, his tremendous energy and strength, and his infectious grin will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our family will miss his great sense of humor which brought so much fun and laughter to our home. He will be missed by his parents of Ogden; his brothers and sisters, Angy (Michael) Ford, Ogden; Danny (Tara) Clark, Santa Paula, Calif.; Jeffrey Clark and Melissa Clark, both of Ogden. He was a loving uncle to Brian, Cole and Cody Clark, and Rachel and Brandon Ford. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Vern A Clark, Logan; and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Boyd Maughan, Logan. Many uncles, aunts and cousins will also miss him. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24th at 1 p.m. at the Weber Heights Stake Center, 1401 Country Hills Drive, (4200 South 1400 East) with Bishop Mark Henderson officiating. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at the Stake Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Robby's Mission President, President McCarrey. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who would like to do so, please contribute to the Perpetual Education Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Robby's name.
