Holladay, UT-David Albert Weidner, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend was called home unexpectedly on December 27, 2016, surrounded by his wife and children.
Dave was born on May 5, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph Weidner and Ruth Hooper Weidner. He married Carol (Judy) Collett in the Salt Lake Temple on December 15, 1961. Dave graduated from South High School and continued on to the University of Utah where he received a Business Marketing degree. He pioneered a successful Manufacture's Rep Business, Weidner and Associates, spanning over four decades. He held many leadership positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved working with the youth, spending many years in the Scouting programs. Dave served a mission in the South Australia Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Carol, served two missions together, the Ohio Kirtland Visitor's Center and Sugarhouse LDS Employment Center.
