We lost our beloved daughter, Stacy Lyn Bearinger, to metastatic lung cancer on June 30, 2017. She was born in Salt Lake City July 21, 1975 to Linda Kizima Bearinger and William Bearinger.
Stacy was a fun gal and did things in a big way. Her loves were shopping, sushi, boy bands, quality time with her nieces Katy, Aly and Violet and her nephew Miles, going to the library, girl times with her BFFs Pam and Mandy, and Saturday coffee dates with her dad.
Stacy was preceded in death by her mother Linda, grandparents... Frank and Betty Bearinger from Pennsylvania and Mabel and Larry Kizima from North Dakota. She is survived by her father Bill and her step mother Helen. She is also survived by her loving family members in Pennsylvania...Aunt Judy and Uncle Jim, her cousins...Jim Molenari and family, Liz Cammarota and family and John Molenari and companion Andrea, and the Kizima family members from North Dakota. Stacy is also survived by "her brother" Chris Evans and family and "her sister" Shawn Cooper and family and her Aunt Kathy from San Diego.
A heartfelt appreciation to the special needs service community who helped Stacy throughout her life. Community Nursing Services and The Cascades at Riverwalk staff provided comfort and care for Stacy in the last few months and days of her life and also are appreciated.
A memorial is being planned for a future date to be announced. In lieu of flowers we recommend donations be sent in memory of Stacy Bearinger to the University of Utah Donor Program, 520 Wakara Way, SLC, Utah 84112, or the following special needs service organizations: TURN Community Services, contact Amy Engar at 801-554-4578 and/or Columbus Community Center, contact Stephanie Mackay, .
