Dear Fred, Jeff & Richie,
I wanted to let you know of our love for your Mother. Your Mom and mine, LaRaine Petersen, have been lifelong friends, as were our Fathers. I still remember our trips to Yellowstone when we were small. Our Mothers had birthday lunches together until the last couple of years. They were always in touch by phone. Your Mom was such a great support when mine needed a friend during good & bad times. Their friendship was tried and true, the likes of which we'll never see again. Mom was so sorry to hear of her passing, but also a little jealous. As you know, we lost Dad in January. Mom was so glad to know that Ida and Dee were together again. She longs for that same precious reunion. It is wonderful to have the knowledge that your parents are finally together again.
You are in our prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of Ida's extended family.
Ida was such a beautiful woman on the outside and inside. Always greeting everyone with her gunine smile and friendly "Hello."
I will cherish the times we spent talking and exchanging stories about our children and grandchildren. She had enormous pride in her family.
She will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched.
She was surely an angel.

Dear Smith Family,
Years ago I was closely associated with Ida & Dee in their personal construction projects. I found them to be lovely people.
Ida compiled a book of Dee's life and accomplishments that will impact generations. Much THANKS to her.

I am so sorry to hear of Ida's passing. Ida was a special friend to Dorothy. I will never forget all the wonderful times we kids and our moms had at the Smith pool and at little mountain on Easter. Your mom was always most kind to all of us kids. She was a special person. Your family is in our prayers.
