Dear Fred, Jeff & Richie,
I wanted to let you know of our love for your Mother. Your Mom and mine, LaRaine Petersen, have been lifelong friends, as were our Fathers. I still remember our trips to Yellowstone when we were small. Our Mothers had birthday lunches together until the last couple of years. They were always in touch by phone. Your Mom was such a great support when mine needed a friend during good & bad times. Their friendship was tried and true, the likes of which we'll never see again. Mom was so sorry to hear of her passing, but also a little jealous. As you know, we lost Dad in January. Mom was so glad to know that Ida and Dee were together again. She longs for that same precious reunion. It is wonderful to have the knowledge that your parents are finally together again.
You are in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Ida's passing. Ida was a special friend to Dorothy. I will never forget all the wonderful times we kids and our moms had at the Smith pool and at little mountain on Easter.
