I remember I met Gwen the night before our children were married. I have always concidered her a real good friend. She was always very welcoming and saved the day when my daughter Mitzi got married and we forgot to press the wedding dress and we gathered up irons and got it done thanks to her. She was so compassioate and loving. Whenever I see a pink rose I always think of her. It must be her beautiful complexion. She will be missed very much. My Greatest sympathy to Coy.
With all my Love,

Mom, you'll alway's be the greatest, loving mom to me. The greatest gift you gave me was one week before you left this world when you were so weak and tired you could only open your eyes and smile acknowledging who came to see you and mouth the words I Love You. I sat by your bed and reminissed with my sisters and daughter about the fun we had with my mom, even if she appearded to be sleeping, I think she was listening and remembering. When I was getting ready to leave I knew that I wouldn't be seeing her again and went back to her bedroom only the two of us there, woke her and told her I was leaving and how much I loved her and kissed her goodbye, and my mommy iin her weakest state, opened her eyes, raised her head off her pillow, and loooked me in the eye, and said "I Love You Nora" smiled and went back to sleep.
My mom had unconditional love for her family, and I've tried to pass it to mine, and now I want to pass it to my brothers and sisters> I love you unconditionaly (no matter what, without judgement, or why.. I'll always feel that way" so POOF.....you got it!!! Pass it on.. love you all Nora

On grandmas last birthday I asked her how old she was.. she told me that she had no idea, and that it was too many to count. I said to her "I hope they were at least good years" she replied "oh,yes, they were wonderful. I don't think that I could have asked for a better life" That was the most cherrished thing that I have heard in my entire life, to hear thast someone has absolutely no regrets in her life is positively wonderful. I love you grandma! I am going to name my first daughter after you! Gwendolyn is a beautifu name. always and forever Chelsea Lynn Prows

I'm Very glad to have had you as a mother-in-law for nearly 31 years. Your a very gracious and classy lady. I remember meeting you for lunch at the Union Pacific office buildings for lunch. You always seemed proud to introduce me to your co-workers. The only time I ever heard you swear was when I had you stuck up in the bow of my boat at Rockport Res. and a large cold wave of water drenched you, to which you replied, "Damn it Wayne". I still remember when you backed your golf cart off of your newly built tilt trailer onto the street. You forgot to pull the tilt release. Sure Love & Miss you ! Wayne

I remember the rides in the "Caddie" with Gwenma's scarf, driving gloves, and pink lipstick. She was never afraid to express herself, but always had good intentions. I loved to stay up late and watch old movies with her. Grandpa your in my thoughts, even though I don't express it often. love Lindsey

Grandma lived a life full of happiness, and love. I have many wonderfull memories of her that I will carry with me forever. In grandma's vocabulary another word for LOVE was "daddy" referring to her loving husband Coy. She always said she was lucky to have him. She led by example I hope that we can apply her life philosophy to our lives. Find joy in all things, and love with your whole heart. Until we meet again gwenma I love you!!!

Maybe she was afraid to go
To take her last breath who would have known
She went so fast, so painless and free
Without her I wouldn't be
she was so sweet, tender and kind
I am just so glad to call her mine
She was my grandma, who I loved so much
She had a soft touch and didn't ask much
I remember the night I had such a fright
January 21, 2005 was her very last night
The way she laid there so peaceful and calm
Her hands crossed upon her chest
How peaceful she was left there to rest
I wrote this poem dedicated to my sweet Grandmother.
