Chance Bonner Obituary

Chance Ray Bonner Heber City, Utah Chance Ray Bonner, age 18, was born November 26, 1988 in Roosevelt, Utah to Barney W. Bonner and Jeanette V. Bonner. A loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, left us Saturday, May 26, 2007. Chance never met a stranger, he was a friend to all. Friends knew he was always on call and could giv'em a pull. He loved to spend time in the mountain four-wheeling and getting stuck in his "quiet" truck "Goldy". Chance also loved riding his dirt bike. If something needed fixed, he could always fix it. Chance grew up in Vernal and Midway. He is the fourth child of seven children. He loved campin', fishin', and spendin' time with his family. Teasin' and tunes. He even had speakers on the bed of his truck. He is the bestest brother ever! Chance played on the Pink Panther traveling soccer team. He enjoyed all sports. Chance loved to ride his old horse, Joker, in the RSR riding club. During high school, Chance was active and enjoyed FFA, building construction, and welding. Chance was employed by RC Construction of Park City. In 2003, Chance was able to travel and spend time in Nashville, Tennessee. He was able to attend the Grand Ole Opry. One of his greatest experiences was to travel with Jeff Bates Band on the Brooks and Dunn Neon Circus Tour in Atlanta, Georgia. Chance is survived by his parents, Jeanette Bonner, Vernal, Barney and Monica Bonner, Midway; sisters, Aubri and Shaili; brothers, Junior, Thad, Trenton, and Kerby; grandparents, Kent and Billie Christensen, Fruitland, Maxine Snyder, Daniels, and Wayne and Shirley Bonner, Midway. Preceded in death by Grandpa Sherdon Snyder; and cousin, Kamie Snyder. Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday May 30, 2007, 1 p.m. at the Midway Town Hall, 100 West Main, Midway, Utah. Viewings will be held, Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main, Heber City, Utah, and from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. prior to the service at Midway Town Hall. Internment will be in the Midway Cemetery. "We're gonna miss ya, bud!"

I wish you were still here and were going to go campin with us, like old times. I’ll never forget the memories we made and I had with you. I just hope that they don't stop here. I hope we can continue to make memories. I can't wait for the day that I get to see your pretty blue eyes and here your funny sayings again. There will never be anyone like you in my life again. You touched my heart in so many ways and never knew it. I hope your havin fun in heaven and diggin it up in your new gold Chevy that you prolly named “Goldy Locks” like we always did down here. I just hope we get to go diggin more when I make it to where you are.

Jeanette and Barney,
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. My heart aches for you and my prayers are with you. Please know that Chance is with our loving Heavenly Father. I am here if you need to talk. You both hold a special place in my heart that began as you "camped" beside our house in Vernal while I was growing up. I have tried to keep tabs on you through my mom through out the years. I know times will be tough for a long long time. Always try to draw strength from your family and remember all the happy memories you have with Chance.
