Robert G. Hooten 1964 ~ 2007 Our beloved husband, father, and brother, Robert Gene Hooten passed away October 26, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah.He was born March 12, 1964 in San Diego to L.B. and Esther Emery Hooten. He married Kristina White October 10, 1998 in Reno, Nevada. Robert had a talent and passion for cooking. He worked as a sous chef in various restaurants and hotels. Robert enjoyed cooking for his family and friends at family get-togethers. He also loved to go camping and deer hunting in the mountains with his brothers and family. Fishing with his wife and kids always brought a smile to his face. Robert had a wonderful talent as an artist. He loved to draw and write poetry as well. He was a wonderful father and enjoyed life's precious moments spending time with his family and friends. We will all miss him dearly. Survived by his wife, Kristina; children, Alyssa Hooten, Robert Hooten, and Kathryn Hooten; sister and brothers, Anna Stolebarger, L.J. Hooten, Floyd Hooten, and Doug Hooten. Preceded in death by parents. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 So., Magna, where friends and family may call Thursday 9-10:45 a.m. Interment: Pleasant Green Cemetery.
