Abraham Epstein Obituary
Mr. Abraham "Abie" Epstein, born in San Antonio Sept. 3, 1937, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many went to be with the Lord April 13, 2012. Abie, a well known Real Estate Broker in San Antonio was a mentor to many agents and brokers locally. A Broker at 21, he operated his own independent brokerage for many years. Later Abie franchised through Century 21 Corporation where he received many sales awards including being the # 2 agent in 2005 (units sold) in the United States and was recognized by the SA Business Journal as the #1 Agent in San Antonio in 2003 and 2004. For six years Abie was the Broad Listing Broker for HUD & the Department of Housing & Urban Development serving over 30 Texas counties. In another era, Abie was the famed producer of the iconic West Side Sound, a sound that was unique to Abie and his General McMullen Studio; a sound symbolic in time that will be a testament to his legacy. Abie was a devout family man and loved life; he was creative, unique, patient, loyal, inspiring and bigger than life itself with a huge heart that reached out to others. He has left a void deep in all of our hearts. He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Angela Epstein, his children, Ronnie Epstein, Cheryl L. Epstein, Jason Epstein, Matthew Castro-Epstein; his Sister, Esther Epstein Wilson(Pat),sister Debra Martinez Vinton(Juan),grandchildren Brooke Epstein and Alexandria Epstein and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES
The family will receive friends beginning at 6 pm on Wednesday April 18th followed by memorial service at 7:00PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in his memory. Please sign the on-line guest book at www.missionparks.com under the obituary section.

Angela & All family....my deepest condolences go out to each and every one of you All. ,Abie & Angela are like,my 2nd parents and i had the priveledge to work beside him for several years...i have learned All that i know thru him. My deepest condolence to the Epstein Family. Abie, thanks for giving us a chance to hear and enjoy the San Anto sound. My deepest condolences. I worked with him and Angela when he was on Babcock rd.
