CIPOLETTI
George W. Cipoletti, age 78, CW4 (Retired) U. S. Army, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 11, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. George was born on September 19, 1933 in Wellsburg, West Virginia to Alphonse & Angela Cipoletti. He is preceded in death by his father, Alphonse Cipoletti and his mother, Angela Camden. Survivors include his daughters, Jenny Connors & husband, Rod of Rapid City, SD, Patricia Cipoletti Roosmalen & husband, Jeff of Dallas, TX and Deborah Jean Volley & husband, Robert of Germantown, MD; grandchildren, Jessica and Brian Volley; Nicole & Christina Roosmalen; Cody, Savannah, Rachel and Abby Burns; sisters, Dorothy Scott, Eva Lucas and Shirley Jack & husband, Ernie; brothers, Al Cipoletti & wife, Betty, Arthur Cipoletti & wife, Shaney, Dan Cipoletti and Dallas "Butch" Camden; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will take place from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside service with full military honors will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. At a later date there will be a memorial service held in Wellsburg, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. On behalf of the Carroll family (Ray, Mary (deceased), Dottie, Dede, Kathy, and Ray (Butch), our heartfelt condolences go out to George's family. We loved the times he shared holidays with us here in San Antonio. I never saw anyone make my mother laugh and enjoy herself like George could do. He holds such a special place in all of our hearts.
