George, You were a great usher "captain" to us on the Saturday 5PM team. You've been missed for a long time. Now we know where you are. You have the best place to be & with the best group. Watch over us. Bird

God Bless You George. It was an honor serving with you as an usher at St. Mark's. You remain my dear friend and fellow college football fan. I will check the Longhorn's score every Saturday and always think of you. I am glad you are at peace.

So sad with your passing. You truly were the most kindest, sincere, caring loving man that touched my life in so many ways. You hold such a special place in my heart that will never be filled by anyone else. I will sadly miss our visits when I return for family visits in San Antonio, but I will always remember the smile you put on my face..Thank you George for who you are, you are one of a kind

On behalf of the Carroll family (Ray, Mary (deceased), Dottie, Dede, Kathy, and Ray (Butch), our heartfelt condolences go out to George's family. We loved the times he shared holidays with us here in San Antonio. I never saw anyone make my mother laugh and enjoy herself like George could do. He holds such a special place in all of our hearts. The Carroll family will miss you, but you will always be in our thoughts. Love from all of the Carroll family (San Antonio TX)
