Crystelle N. Kuhlman, 91, was born February 1, 1927 in Tulsa, OK, to Edward and Julia Noyes. She rose on eagles wings on Sunday, June 3, 2018, in Cypress, TX. She moved to San Antonio, TX and joined Central Christian Church in 1938, and graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1944 as a member of the National Honor and Sigma Epsilon Societies. She married Robert E. Kuhlman August 15, 1946, in Central Christian Church and moved to Lancaster, PA, for 20 years.

As a member of the Church of God in Lancaster, PA, she was active in Women's Activities, served as Deacon, and along with her husband, served as Youth Sponsors. In 1966, she and Bob moved back to San Antonio, TX, joining Highlands Christian Church. There she served as CWF President several times, as Elder, and as Chairman of several Departments on the Church Board.

In January 1984, they rejoined Central Christian Church. Chris was active in the life of C.C.C. serving as Deacon, Elder, Board Chairman, Chairman of several Departments, Stephen Minister, and in 2004 was elected Elder Emeritus. She was also very active in the CWF serving twice as President and was a member of the sewing group. Chris served as Treasurer and Finance Chairman for many years for Church Women United in San Antonio. She served on the board of the Battered Women's Shelter and volunteered with the Salvation Army. Chris's passion was to be a good Christian, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend. She expressed her faith in God through her deeds of love, care and support for others.

Her husband, Robert E. Kuhlman, preceded her in death as did her sister, Marie Phippeny. She is survived by her beloved children, Robert Kuhlman, Jr. (Sheila) of Austin, TX, and Cheryl Coleman (Fred), of Cypress, TX, grandchildren, Megan Coleman Stalder, Chelsey Coleman Williams, twins Christopher and Andrew Kuhlman and great-grandson Henry Gene Williams.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Christian Church Endowment Fund -Scholarship Fund, or a . A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. on June 16th, 2018, at Central Christian Church, San Antonio, Texas.
