Dolly Morrow Altgelt was born in San Antonio, Texas October 17, 1923.

Dolly was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Woodward Woodson Altgelt, Jr., her son Skeet Altgelt and her parents William Leigh Morrow and Dolly Post Morrow.

Dolly and Woodward were very active in the San Antonio Community and known for their many efforts to give back to the city. Dolly graduated from St. Mary's Hall and continued to be very involved in the alumnae association for many years. She was a Past Mistress of the Robes for The Order of The Alamo, she was Instrumental in creating the Woman's Pavilion at Hemisphere Plaza. As well as a member of The Charity Ball Association, The Forum Club, Monte Vista Garden Club, The Junior League, The Battle of Flowers Association, The Argyle, San Antonio Country Club. She was a Lifetime Member of the San Antonio Livestock Exposition. Dolly belonged to and loved Christ Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Celeste and George Dullnig and Tina and Joe Haynes, five grandchildren and their spouses Tate and Tallie Altgelt, Hunter and Joyce Altgelt, Heather Celeste Haynes, Walt and Virginia Powell, and Jordan and Brittney Dullnig, three great-grandsons, Judd Woodward Kraft, Reed Altgelt Powell, and Alfred Dullnig Powell and two great-granddaughters Caylee Reata Dullnig and Emma Kate Dullnig. Dolly also has numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews whom she was very fond.

Dolly will be remembered by her family as an outspoken matriarch who lived all her days in beautiful ways and with God's grace. Services will be private for family.

Those who desire may send contributions to The Charity Ball Association in lieu of Flowers.
