August 5, 1929 - June 28, 2018

Josephine "Josie" Loth Klinksiek, of Fredericksburg, passed away on June 28, 2018 at the age of 88 years
old.

Josie was born in Fredericksburg on August 5, 1929 to Edward and Meta Borchers Loth.

She married Belton Arnold Klinksiek on January 16, 1954.

Josie graduated from St. Mary's High School and later received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio, Texas.

Josie spent the majority of her life as a registered nurse. She worked at Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Keidel Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg and for Allergy Specialist, Dr. Dor Brown in Fredericksburg. After retiring from nursing, she worked with the family business, Fredericksburg Machine and Appliance True Value, until the store closed.
Throughout the following years, Josie and Belton enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren in addition to their travels across the United States and abroad.

She is survived by two daughters, one son and spouses including Connie Bost of Cypress, Sidney and Tammar Klinksiek of Kentucky and Peggy and Reagan Schwarzlose of Colleyville, ten grandchildren and
six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Irene Wehmeyer of Washington and in-laws Patricia Loth of Kempner and Harold and Merlyn Klinksiek of College Station.

In addition to her husband and parents, Josie was preceded in death by three siblings, Louis Loth, Daniel Loth and Annabel Kuhlmlann.

A vigil service with Rosary will be held on Friday, July 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.

Visitation for Mrs. Josie Klinksiek will begin on Friday, July 6th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 7th from 7:00 - 9:45 a.m. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
