COL Thomas J. Krauska, USAF (Retired) entered into rest on November 20, 2006 in San Antonio. He was born December 15, 1919 in St. Louis, MO., the son of Ignatus and Mary Krauska. He was a charter member of St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church and The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre. Col Krauska was the founder of the Air Force Retired Judge Advocate Association Tom enjoyed dancing and was an avid Bass Fisherman. Survivors include his beloved wife, Thea Krauska; children, Tom & Gerry Krauska of St. Louis, Mark & Cheryl Krauska of CA, Andy & Jane Krauska of FL, Tony & Missy of Mesquite, Mary Kay & Chuck Sexton of Austin, Anne & Tom Frayniarz of San Antonio, Peggy & Dave Kaiser of Maryland; step children, Michele Rockelein, Melissa & Rob Pritchard, Francine Rockelein; grandchildren, Joel, Sarah, Brandon & his wife, Autumn, Preston, Allison, Annie, Anna, Jake, & Payton and a sister, Betty Aurin of St. Louis. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:45 A.M., Monday, November 27, 2006 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 7400 Crestway Drive, with Rev. Eduardo Morales as celebrant. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church Society of St. Vincent de Paul or the Seraphic Sisters, 138 Beethoven St. San Antonio, TX 78210.
